Petis udang is an Indonesian shrimp paste made of boiled shrimp. In contrast to trassie petis udang contains no fermented shrimp, it has a sweeter and stronger taste and a creamy consistency. Use Jeeny's Petis Shrimp Paste for the preparation of panang laksa (sour fish soup with noodles), for numerous variants of rujak (spicy fruit salad) and for seasoning egg dishes.
